Game 67 Preview: Providence at Lehigh Valley

The Phantoms and PBruins conclude their regular season series tonight at the PPL Center.
I'll have full coverage of tonight's Phantoms game against the Providence Bruins. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. ET, but make sure you're following me on Twitter -> @TonyAndrock and now on Facebook (be sure to like the Facebook page!) for all the latest updates and information this evening. Stay tuned here online after the game for a recap of the action.

The Lehigh Valley Phantoms (27-32-4-3) look to end an eight-game winless skid tonight when they host a Providence Bruins (34-19-9-3) team that enters tonight on a four-game winning streak overall and is 5-0 in their last five road contests.

After Wednesday's 8-0 loss to Hershey - the worst home loss in Phantoms' franchise history - tonight brings a chance for redemption for Lehigh Valley with nine games left as the regular season winds down.

Providence could have two former Flyers in their lineup tonight. Max Talbot has been a regular since his demotion from Boston, and enigmatic Zac Rinaldo has played just one of the last four PBruins games since serving a five-game AHL suspension for a check to the head in his PBruins debut earlier this month.

All of the regular news, notes, stats and more to get you ready for tonight's game in a full preview after the jump.

Lehigh Valley Phantoms

Roster Notes

Martin Ouellette is expected to get the start in net tonight for Lehigh Valley, after being pulled 12 minutes into Wednesday's game following three goals on six shots. Jason LaBarbera is going to be out for a bit with a nagging lower body injury, so the Phantoms must continue on with a duo of Knapp and Ouellette.

The only other expected lineup change is on the fourth line, where Dalton Smith looks to replace Pavel Padakin.

The only injured players - goaltender Jason LaBarbera and forward Michael Parks - are considered long term. LaBarbera will be out for a little bit, said head coach Scott Gordon. Michael Parks is out for the season after shoulder surgery mid-season.

Scratches from Wednesday's Game: Jason LaBarbera (lower body), Michael Parks (upper body), Max Lamarche (healthy), Dalton Smith (healthy), Jay Rosehill (healthy), Reece Willcox (healthy) and Logan Pyett (out indefinitely)

Lines (Starters in Bold/Italics):
