Game 79 Preview: WBS Penguins @ Hershey Bears

Saturday, April 9, 2011
Robert Bortuzzo (#15) and Brian Strait (#7) have been the shutdown defensive pairing for the WBS Penguins all season.

For those who missed last night's game, you do not want to miss any of the action tonight. While the result of the game means nothing in terms of the standings, these two teams hate each other and last night showed that.  Keven Veilleux has been suspended for two games for his actions last night, while Hershey Bears agitator Steve Pinizzotto was left unscathed. I expect some carry over rough stuff in tonight's contest in Hershey.

Geoff Walker, who left the arena in a sling last night, probably won't play tonight. No need to rush a guy back into the lineup when the games mean little to nothing. So enter David Marshall and heavyweight Ryan Schnell for tonight's contest and you could see fireworks. I'm sure the line combos will be altered a little bit so here's my best guess as to what they might look like for tonight's game.

Sterling-Craig-Petersen
Collins-Vitale-Lerg
Thompson-Street-Marshall
Schnell-Sill-Boulerice

That fourth line could start some trouble tonight. The defensive pairings should be the same and expect John Curry to get the start in net tonight.

Not going to re-post the usual format for tonight since you can easily check them out here.

Tonight's game at the Giant Center is sold out but I will be watching the game live from home and will have in game updates on the blog's Twitter feed. Follow @H_P_Hockey for all WBS Penguins news and info.
