A picture of Zach Sill dropping the gloves in a preseason game this past year.
The big news yesterday was the signing of forward Zach Sill to a two year, two-way contract for a $525,000 annual cap hit at the NHL level. That story is here if you don't feel like scrolling down the page. That was the first move the Penguins organization has made so far early in the off season. There are likely more free agent re-signings to come soon and they will be up on the blog as soon as the news breaks.

I wrote a pretty in-depth article explaining all of the organizations options for retaining the in-house free agents over at PensBurgh today. I would take a look at that story.

Other than that, I have started the player profile's of the WBS Penguins players with a review of the progress they made this season. So far I have posted season reviews of:
Be sure to comment on how you thought they performed this season and rate their performance on a 1-10 scale, with 1 being the least impressive and 10 being the absolute most impressive. The next two players on that will be on the blog soon are team captain Ryan Craig and backup goaltender John Curry, two popular players in the Wilkes-Barre Penguins locker room last season. Look for those reviews later this week.
