Alexandre Picard needs to continue to be a leader on defense. |
A few notes of happenings this week at practice:
- Devin DiDiomete was released from his PTO. He didn't really show much with the few shifts he saw in both the preseason and regular season. Good news for Ryan Schnell as both are known for their ability to mix things up and drop the gloves. Looks like Schnell will be the WBS Penguins enforcer exclusively for now.
- Robert Bortuzzo will return to the lineup and make his season debut tonight. He will be paired with Alexandre Picard on the blue line.
- The lineup for tonight is basically the same, except for Bortuzzo instead of Brian Strait:
- Tangradi (#25) - Gibbons (#9) - Williams (#18)
Walker (#17) - Lerg (#19) - McDonald (#13)
Thompson (#37) -Street (#12) - Dimitrakos (#52)
Petersen (#8) - Sill (#11) - DeFazio (#24)
Picard (#45) - Bortuzzo (#15)
Despres (#47) - Sneep (#4)
Samuelsson (#5) - Mormina (#3)
Thiessen (#39) - Munroe (#43)
Go Penguins!
