WBS Penguins Search For First Home Win

Friday, November 4, 2011
Bad blood between these two teams could boil over all season long.
The Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins return home after a 20 day break from the Mohegan Sun Arena to take on their most heated rival, the Hershey Bears. The Penguins are coming off four straight road wins and a perfect 5-0-0-0 on the season away from home, but are looking to win their first game in front of the home crowd tonight at 7:05 p.m. EST.

Who: Hershey Bears @ WBS Penguins
Where: Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza
When: Friday, November 4th at 7:05 p.m. EST

Things to watch for and the expected lineup for tonight's game after the jump.

Things You Should Watch For

For the Bears, Keith Aucoin (3G-13A), Chris Bourque (6G-8A) and Jacob MicFlikier (5G-7A) bring the offensive punch. The Penguins will need to know when and where these guys are on the ice at all times. Good forward depth, but these three guys are the main course so to speak.

For the Penguins, the defense will need to step up. Without Alexandre Picard and Brian Strait, the load falls onto the shoulders of guys like Robert Bortuzzo and Carl Sneep. Brad Thiessen will also need to continue to stand on his head if the Penguins are to have a chance tonight.

Expected WBS Lineup

Colin McDonald (#13) - Bryan Lerg (#19) - Jason Williams (#18)
Eric Tangradi (#25) - Brian Gibbons (#9) - Niko Dimitrakos (#52)
Paul Thompson (#37) - Ben Street (#10) - Nick Petersen (#8)
Ryan Schnell (#38) - Zach Sill (#11) - Brandon DeFazio (#24)

Robert Bortuzzo (#15) - Cody Wild (#6)
Carl Sneep (#4) - Simon Despres (#47)
Joey Mormina (#3) - Philip Samuelsson (#5)

Brad Thiessen (#39)

Go Penguins!
