Wednesday's WBS Practice UPDATE 10/24

Wednesday, October 24, 2012

The Penguins were back at it this morning at the Coal Street Rink in Wilkes-Barre.

The lines remained the same from yesterday. Robert Bortuzzo skated in a regular practice jersey today but did not participate in contact drills.

Denver Manderson was wearing the red no-contact jersey today.

Jayson Megna did some off ice shooting while the Penguins were starting up their practice on the ice. Megna hasn't started skating yet.

Lines:

Tangradi-Ferriero-Bennett
Gibbons-Smith-Thompson
Dupuis-Peters-Holzapfel
Kuhnhackl-Payerl-Uher
MacIntyre-Manderson-Veilleux

Strait-Reese/Bortuzzo
Mormina-Despres-Morrow
Sneep-Dumoulin
Grant-Samuelsson-Morrow

Closed practice tomorrow then a home game against the Rochester Americans on Friday. Saturday is a road trip to Syracuse and Sunday sees the Penguins playing the Hershey Bears at the Giant Center.

Spoke to head coach John Hynes after the roughly 90 minute session and he said his team was ready for this weekend's games. Sounds like they're ready to get back at it and hopefully get in the W column this weekend.
