Breaking Down the Matchup

Syracuse (1st - EAST): 1st Place East Division, 37-17-3-5 = 82 points

One More Before The Home Stretch

The Penguins travel to New York today to take on the Syracuse Crunch before returning for a home game on Saturday.  The Penguins probably won't catch the Crunch for the East Division crown, as they are 11 points behind coming into tonight's game, but a win tonight could make a statement.

For the Penguins, the injured list has just two names on it. Phil Dupuis has been out of the lineup since missing the game against Norfolk on January 15th and it's looking more and more like a season ending injury. Tom Kuhnhackl is out for the season as he had shoulder surgery awhile back.

Injured list: Tom Kuhnhackl (shoulder surgery - out for season) and Phil Dupuis (out indefinitely since 1/15)

Healthy Scratches: Cody Wild, Christian Minella and Steve MacIntyre

Expected lineup:

Holzapfel - Smith - Kolarik
Collins - Gibbons - Megna
Payerl - Peters - Thompson
Farnham - Sill - Uher

Reese - Dumoulin
Grant - Mormina
Samuelsson - Morrow
