The Penguins visit Binghamton for the first time since last season's first round playoff series (shown above),

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (WBS) take on the Binghamton Senators (BSens) tonight up in the southern tier of New York at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena (BCVMA). This will be the first of eight meetings between to the two teams. Puck drop scheduled at 7:05 p.m. EDT.

Highland Park Hockey's coverage of tonight's American Hockey League (AHL) action starts at 6:00 p.m.

For The BSens

Forwards Mark Stone (two-weeks) and Andre Petersson (day-to-day) are not going to play tonight, and leading scorer Mika Zibanejad has been called up to Ottawa (NHL). On defense, Troy Rutkowski and Ben Blood will be healthy scratches.

For The Penguins

A quick recap of the roster moves heading into this weekend. Forwards Chris Conner and Harry Zolnierczyk are back with the AHL Penguins. Forward Jayson Megna has been called up to Pittsburgh and looks to make his NHL debut tonight on the Pens third line with Brandon Sutter and Tanner Glass. The AHL Penguins loaned defenseman Dustin Stevenson to Wheeling, leaving the Pens with seven healthy defensemen.

Expect the five players who came out to practice after the main session was over yesterday will not be playing tonight: goaltender Eric Hartzell, defensemen Harrison Ruopp and Peter Merth and forwards Tom Kostopoulos and Anton Zlobin.

Expect one of Bobby Farnham, Mike Carman or Pierre-Luc Leblond to be the healthy forward scratch. On defense, either Reid McNeill or Nick D'Agostino will be the odd man out on the blue line.
