The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins look to avenge last night's loss tonight when they rematch the St. John's IceCaps at 7:05 p.m. EDT in the second of four meetings between the teams. Goaltender Eric Hartzell is scheduled to make his AHL debut tonight in net for the Penguins.
The Penguins (11-4-0-2) headed into this weekend winners of three straight before last night's 2-1 loss to the IceCaps. Jayson Megna's three game goal scoring streak was snapped, but Megna did assist on the Pens' lone goal in the first period last night. Harry Zolnierczyk scored the goal, giving him a team-leading eight goals on the season.
The IceCaps (8-7-1-2) were coming off back-to-back losses at the hands of the Worcester Sharks last weekend. They are lead offensively by forwards Eric O'Dell and Jason Jaffray. After an up and down season last year, the IceCaps look to get things back on track in 2013-14.
