#AHL Game Preview: #WBSPens Take On Hershey Tonight

Saturday, November 30, 2013
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins look to take sole possession of first place in the East Divsion tonight and can do so with a win over the Hershey Bears tonight at Giant Center. The Bears are looking to get out of the East Divsion cellar and earn their first victory over the Penguins this season, in the 5th meeting between the two teams.

The Bears are coming off back-to-back losses, most recently a 5-2 defeat at the hands of the St. John's IceCaps. The Penguins bounced back after Wedensday night's loss to Adirondack with a 1-0 shutout victory over Binghamton last night.

Tune into Highland Park Hockey on Twitter tonight for all the latest in-game updates of tonight's AHL action. The puck drops at 7:00 p.m. EDT. Roster notes, lineups for both teams and more after e jump.

For The Penguins

The WBS Pens need someone to step up and contribute offensively, as they have managed just two goals in the last 120 minutes of hockey after a five-goal third period November 23rd against St. John's. Tom Kuhnhackl and Paul Thompson are two guys that jump out on the list of forwards looking to contribute offensively.

Dominik Uher was held out last night after taking a shot from the point in the face under his visor during the 2nd period of Wednesday night's 3-1 loss to Adirondack. If he's unable to play, the same 12 forwards should be in the WBS lineup tonight.

Expected Lines

Zolnierczyk - Gibbons - Kostopoulos
Kuhnhackl - Carman - Thompson
Farnham - Payerl - Leblond
Sylvester - Manderson - Rowney

Samuelsson - Dumoulin
Mikkelson - Harrington
D'Agostino - Stevenson/Merth
