The Wolfpack are struggling so far this season in last place in the conference, but are coming off two wins in three games last week. They'll look to continue their winning ways with a pair of home games this weekend. The Wolfpack host Worcester Saturday in a rematch of last week's 3-2 overtime win by Hartford.
The Penguins are coming off a 5-2 win where the difference in offensive production came with some timely secondary scoring. Five different players (Thompson, Drazenovic, Kostopoulos, Zlobin and Sylvester) scored goals in the victory. They have a big weekend at home ahead of themselves when the top team in the conference, the Manchester Monarchs, comes to town for a Saturday night showdown.
The Pens also host East Division leading Binghamton on Sunday, so it will be key for the Penguins not to overlook tonight's opponent and focus on the first game of the three-game weekend and take it one game at a time.
Tune into Highland Park Hockey on Twitter tonight for all the latest in-game updates of tonight's AHL action. The puck drops at 7:00 p.m. EST. Roster notes, lineups and more after the jump.
