Is Kasperi Kapanen safe to remain with the Penguins organization? |
Only a few days away from the 2015 NHL Entry Draft in Sunrise, Florida and trade rumors are buzzing around the league.
Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported today that if the Penguins are going to trade for a top-six winger, that Brandon Sutter will likely be included in the deal per this post earlier today.
Josh Yohe of DKonPittsburghSports.com had something on the likelihood of Sutter being moved this summer back on June 5th.
There have also been rumblings of Phil Kessel to Pittsburgh, though there isn't a deal that makes sense with Toronto.
The days leading up to this weekend's draft will allow the rumors to mount, but here at Highland Park Hockey the focus is to report on breaking news, write features and provide insightful analysis on the American Hockey League. I will make mention of some of these rumors, but take them for what they are worth.
It's certainly possible that some Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins players will be traded before it's all said and done. Be sure you are following on Twitter @H_P_Hockey to get the latest news as it's happening.
After the jump, Monday's weekly reading links to help get you by until the draft on Friday and Saturday.
