The Philadelphia Flyers announced that they have trimmed their roster by 23 players - 19 of which have been re-assigned to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. They are as follows:
Goaltenders (3): Connor Knapp (AHL), Martin Ouellette (AHL) and Anthony Stolarz
Defensemen (6): Mark Alt, Maxim Lamarche, Nick Luukko (AHL), Sam Morin, Jesper Pettersson and Logan Pyett (AHL)
Forwards (10): Brandon Alderson, Cole Bardreau, Tyrell Goulbourne, Taylor Leier, Danick Martel, Derek Mathers, Pavel Padakin (AHL), Michael Parks (AHL), Jay Rosehill (AHL) and Petr Straka
There are now 35 players on the Flyers' training camp roster, which will need to see at least 12 more players re-assigned to the Phantoms before the start of the season. Oddly enough, there are 12 players in the list in the next paragraph of guys expected to join the Phantoms before the NHL regular season begins.

Still with the Flyers and expected to join the Phantoms before the start of the regular season are goaltender Jason LaBarbera, defensemen Davis Drewiskie, Shayne Gostisbehere, Robert Hagg and Christian Marti and forwards Tim Brent, Chris Conner, Nick Cousins, Scott Laughton, Colin McDonald, Aaron Palushaj and Chris Porter.

Now that the AHL roster has some bodies, it shouldn't be too long before Phantoms AHL training camp gets underway.
