Lower Saucon Valley Police have arrested and charged 36-year-old Michael Pacitti with simple assault and harassment charges stemming from an incident late Wednesday night in 1900 block of Pine Court in Society Hill. Pacitti, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms' video coach, recently finished his 13th season as video coach in the organization.

The Saucon Source posted this excerpt detailing the police's report on the incident:
Police said officers were called to Pacitti’s home shortly before midnight Wednesday after 911 received a call from his “hysterical” girlfriend “stating that her boyfriend had just assaulted her and had taken her cell phone to keep her from calling police.”
When officers arrived at the home, police said they found the woman “to have bruising in her right rib area.”
They said she was also bleeding from a cut on her finger, “which she stated she had sustained when Pacitti kicked her in the chest and then threw her to the ground.”
Pacitti has been taken to Northhampton County Prison, where bail has been set at $5,000 according to a news release from police. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 23rd.
