Editor's Note: Going to try something new to add yet another element to our Lehigh Valley Phantoms game night coverage. The plan is to feature more of our awesome photographers' work associated with game night photos taken at the games.
Make sure you're following Highland Park Hockey's Nina Weiss (
@trancemoment) for all the best in-game action photos when the Phantoms play both at home and on the road.
After the jump, some photos from last night's Phantoms 5-3 win over the Binghamton Senators.

The boys were in Binghamton Friday night. Here's a look at the warmup skate. |
Alex Lyon had a great night for Lehigh Valley in net, stopping 41 of 42. He made tons of saves like this one in traffic. |
As expected in the second game of a back-to-back meeting between the Phantoms and BSens, it was a chippy affair. Jordan Weal was involved in penalties most of the night both for and against his team. |
A familiar scene here. Travis Sanheim has continued to confidently bring the puck up the ice and lead the rush with relative ease. |
Andy Miele was a man on a mission Friday. He might be small in stature, but he plays like a pit bull. |
When it was all said and done, it was Alex Lyon holding it all together for the Phantoms Friday in Binghamton. The third period comeback for the 2-1 win was only possible because of Lyon's big saves throughout the night - particularly a save early in third period that led to a rush up ice and the Phantoms' tying goal by Jordan Weal. Captain Colin McDonald and rookie goalie. |
Sam Morin was pumped after the Phantoms' win and I think this photo from Nina's gallery Friday night shows it perfectly. Morin was especially excited for Nicolas Aube-Kubel after NAK's game winning goal with 5:05 left in regulation. |
