Editor's Note: Going to try something new to add yet another element to our Lehigh Valley Phantoms game night coverage. The plan is to feature more of our awesome photographers' work associated with game night photos taken at the games.

Make sure you're following Highland Park Hockey's Nina Weiss (@trancemoment) for all the best in-game action photos when the Phantoms play both at home and on the road.

After the jump, some photos from last night's AHL All-Star Skills Competition

The Eastern Conference All-Stars

All-Star weekend is all about reuniting with former teammates, and that's what Jordan Weal did - catching up with his former roommate when Vincent LoVerde and Jordan Weal played in Manchester and won a Calder Cup together.

T.J. Brennan catching up with Spencer Abbott, who were teammates together in Toronto a few years ago.

This was Leier's second run through of the puck control relay after his 1st attempt ended when he got to the far end and there wasn't a puck waiting for him.

Jordan Weal got the Eastern Conference All-Stars on the board, winning his 1-on-1 race against Taylor Leier's former linemate in junior hockey - Cleveland's Oliver Bjorkstrand.

San Jose Barracuda goaltender Troy Grosenick was taking some photos of his own from the Western Conference bench.

Phantoms forward Taylor Leier signed plenty of autographs last night for the hometown fans at PPL Center.

All-Star weekend is also about enjoying it with family and friends, and that's exactly what T.J. Brennan is doing in his fourth straight AHL All-Star appearance. Here he is with his nephew during last night's Skills Competition.
