ALLENTOWN - Back on December 17th, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and the Phantoms' Wives Charities ran a fundraiser for their annual Building Hope for Kids Project - selling autographed hockey pucks that gave fans who purchased them a chance to win an autographed hockey stick.

After looking into what the project is all about and seeing what it did for a family in the Lehigh Valley last year, it was an easy decision to make. We at Highland Park Hockey would like to further help the cause and reach out to more than just local Phantoms fans who attended that game back in December.

Here's how you can help.

Having bought a bunch of said autographed hockey pucks for charity and winning an autographed stick in the process, now online is an auction for a Scott Laughton autographed hockey stick.

Initially, I was going to use the proceeds from the autographed stick to further aid in Highland Park Hockey's travel funds for live coverage of Phantoms hockey but have decided I'll be donating 50% (perhaps more than that depending on how well the Ebay auction goes) to the Phantoms' Wives Charities specifically for their Building Hope for Kids Project.

In addition, for the entire month of February I'll also be donating half of all received donations via our PayPal and GoFundMe campaigns to the Building Hope for Kids Project too for those interested in helping out a great cause.
