After beginning the season in Lehigh Valley with the Phantoms and going pointless in six games before becoming a healthy scratch for two weeks, Tyrell Goulbourne was reassigned to the Flyers' ECHL affiliate in Reading back on November 17th.

Since then, Goulbourne has played 36 games with the Reading Royals - tallying eight goals and 11 assists including seven points (three goals, four assists) in his last nine games.

He's been waiting for another chance with the Phantoms at the AHL level, and an injury to Danick Martel in the second period of Friday night's game in Springfield has left Lehigh Valley with just 11 healthy forwards with two more road games in the northeast looming this weekend presented an opportunity.

According to a source close to the situation, Highland Park Hockey has confirmed that Tyrell Goulbourne will be joining the Phantoms in Hartford. He'll be heading up the XL Center in the morning in advance of Saturday afternoon's 3 p.m. face-off against the Wolf Pack.
