For the Penguins, Robert Bortuzzo has been re-assigned to the NHL Penguins after what Pittsburgh head coach Dan Bylsma said would be three games for Bortuzzo to get in some ice time before the NHL trading deadline. With Bortuzzo back up, Cody Wild will move back onto the third pair with Alex Grant. Reid McNeill was recalled from Wheeling and will serve as the team's 7th defenseman.
Beau Bennett is still with Wilkes-Barre and reportedly made the trip to Norfolk. It is likely that the Penguins will still add Bennett to their NHL club after Wednesday's trade deadline.
The injured list has just two names on it. Phil Dupuis has been out of the lineup since missing the game against Norfolk on January 15th. Tom Kuhnhackl is out for the season as he had shoulder surgery after injuring his shoulder on December 1st.
