Zach Sill has filled his role perfectly this season, playing a vital role on the penalty kill and playing solid two way hockey. |
After taking seven out of a possible eight points on that Canadian road trip, the WBS Penguins look for another impressive performance tonight at home against the Worcester Sharks, another team on the bubble in terms of the playoff race.

WBS Penguins, 48-18-0-1, 97 pts, 1st place East Division
Season series: WBS 1-0 after a 2-0 win in Worcester on 11-13
Previous ten games - WOR: 5-4-1-0 WBS: 6-3-0-1
The WBS Penguins have gotten at least a point in four straight games and a win tonight will clinch the Pens a spot in the Calder Cup Playoffs.
Players to Watch
Worcester: Benn Ferriero - 32 games played (13G, 14A)
Ferriero has split time between the AHL and NHL Sharks this season, playing 32 games for each time up to this point. He's averaging nearly a point per game at the AHL level and will draw the attention of the Penguins tonight.
WBS: Ryan Craig - 59 games played (17G, 25A)
Craig scored the first goal against Worcester in November and has been one of the best Penguins forwards so far in the month of March with seven points (3G, 4A) in his last seven games.
Final Thoughts
Should be a good match up with Brad Thiessen taking to the net for WBS, looking for his 30th win of the season. Again, a win tonight clinches the Pens a playoff spot, so the boys will be looking to get that done so they can focus on wrapping up the season as the league's best team.
