WBS Penguins call up Patrick Killeen

Wheeling Nailers beat writer Shawn Rine confirms the transaction log on the ECHL's website that Patrick Killeen has been called up the the AHL Penguins. The move to pull John Curry last night might have become more clear.

There hasn't been an update on the status of Curry but calling up a goalie from the ECHL can't be a good sign for Curry's chances this weekend. Brad Thiessen will likely start in goal for the Pens on Saturday when they host the Worcester Sharks.
