Getting Back On Track

Two more road games this weekend before the Penguins return home for a few days, before finishing the road trip in Syracuse on Wednesday. It's a big weekend for the Penguins, starting tonight with a rematch at the DCU Center against the Worcester Sharks.

With Wednesday's win, the Sharks moved within one point of a playoff spot in what is becoming a logjam in the Eastern Conference standings. Only one point separates 7th place Hershey (64 points) from 11th place Manchester (63 points). Sitting in 6th place heading into this weekend's games, the Penguins could avoid getting into said logjam with a win tonight.

For the Penguins, the injured list has just two names on it. Steve MacIntyre made his return to the lineup Wednesday night and made his presence felt in the third period.  I'd expect him to stay in the lineup to sheriff the ice and make sure nothing comes out of Matt Pelech.  Phil Dupuis has been out of the lineup since missing the game against Norfolk on January 15th and it's looking more and more like a season ending injury. Tom Kuhnhackl is out for the season as he had shoulder surgery awhile back.

Injured list: Tom Kuhnhackl (upper body) and Phil Dupuis

Healthy Scratches: Cody Wild, Christian Minella and Chris Collins

Expected lineup:

Holzapfel - Smith - Kolarik
Megna - Gibbons - Uher
Payerl - Peters - Thompson
Farnham - Sill - MacIntyre

Reese - Dumoulin
Grant - Mormina
Samuelsson - Morrow
