Chiodo Headlines #AHL #Pens Training Camp Roster

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced a 25-man roster that will begin AHL Penguins Training Camp this Saturday morning at the Ice Rink at Coal Street.

Goaltender Andy Chiodo, a former WBS goaltender and big-time fan favorite, is among the invitees to the camp. Chiodo joins forward Tom Kostopoulos (also a big-time fan favorite) as two Penguins throwbacks at this year's camp.

Here's the full roster as it stands now. Obviously, more bodies will be on their way from Pittsburgh before the start of the season:

Goaltenders (2): Andy Chiodo and Peter Mannino

Defenseman (8): Nick D'Agostino, Barry Goers, Reid McNeill, Peter Merth, Mike Ratchuk, Clark Seymour, Dustin Stevenson and Alex Velischek

Forwards (15): Mike Carman, Kyle Fletcher, Brian Gibbons, Chaz Johnson, Tom Kostopoulos, Jack MacLellan, Denver Manderson, Patrick McGrath, Christiaan Minella, Carter Rowney, C.J. Severyn, Cody Sylvester, Paul Thompson, Domink Uher, and Scott Zurevinksi

Camp starts this Saturday from 10-12 at the Ice Rink at Coal Street. There are also practices Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at Coal Street, all scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., before Wednesday night's preseason opener in Brighton, New York, against the Rochester Americans.
