AHL Penguins Open Training Camp Today

Adam Payerl is in Wilkes-Barre for Day One of AHL Penguins training camp.

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins open their training camp with their first on-ice practice this morning at 10 a.m. ET. The AHL Penguins will hold open to public practices at the Toyota SportsPlex each of the next four days from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET.



The Roster

Forwards (14) - Josh Archibald, Jean-Sebastien Dea, Nick Drazenovic, Tom Kostopoulos (AHL contract), Tom Kuhnhackl, Matia Marcantuoni, Patrick McGrath (ECHL contract), Tyler Murovich*, Adam Payerl, Carter Rowney (AHL deal), Bryan Rust, Conor Sheary (AHL deal), Scott Wilson and Anton Zlobin.

Defensemen (7) - Alex Boak (AHL deal), Nick D'Agostino, Barry Goers (AHL deal), Jonathan Narbonne*, Harrison Ruopp, Kevin Ryan* and Clark Seymour (AHL deal).

Goalies (3) - Matt Murray, Eric Hartzell and Nolan Schaefer*

Take note, this isn't a final look at the AHL roster. There are still several cuts that Pittsburgh has to make yet. Here's a look at the bubble players still at the NHL Pens' camp, most of which you should see filter down to Wilkes-Barre:
