Early Saturday morning, fire alarms sounded at the Hilton in Hartford where the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and fans were staying prior to Saturday afternoon's game at the XL Center against the Hartford Wolf Pack.

"We came down to the lobby to go to Dunkin Donuts for some morning coffee," Phantoms fan Tom Snyder recalled of this morning's events. "Hotel staff was very informative that there was a small fire and they let us remain in the lobby for the most part."

Hotel guests were told to vacate their rooms and some, including several Phantoms' players, converged in the hotel's lobby while waiting for firefighters to arrive on the scene.

There were no reported injuries in the early morning fire. It was a small isolated fire. After the fire was cleared, hotel guests were able to return to their rooms.
